Apparently the light at the entrance was shifted to the wrong side of the entrance in the dispute between Fiji and Tonga over the reef's "ownership" ... but that might be over now, and the light might be in the right place! Clearing process this morning in Noumea then departing this afternoon. It takes a while to walk to Customs, then Immigration, then a long walk around the waterfront past the Maritime Museum, to get to the port captain for the final sign off.

Anchored at Tiare. Squeezed in a final surf at Tenia this morning then beat into 20-25 knot headwinds all afternoon to shakedown the two new crew. This anchorage is a bit rolly in SE conditions it transpires, I would prefer to be just around the headland back in La Guerre or Baie Maa.
