At approaches to Tongatapu. Great passage. All is well.

Enjoying our 3rd week at Minerva North. Whales are comming by the boat several times a day. All is well.

Arrived at Minerva North at 9 AM this morning. There is enough room in here for a navy! All is well.

Winds clocked around to push us straight at our destination. But alas, we can't run straight down wind without messing with the whisker pole or spinnaker. So we gibed for the last day and a half. On a nice broach reach right now surfing the back of the swell. Will pick a spot to heave-to for the night and enter the North reef in the morning. All is well.

Winds shifted behind us for a broad reach. The "waves from every direction" mess of the first few days is replaced with swell matching the wind direction. It is getting warmer. YES!! Talked with Legacy and Cosmo on the VHF. Looking forward to meeting some new friends at Minerva.

Winds picked up at 0300. Put in a second reef with the sunrise. We are moving well but the ride is a bit bumpy. All is well.

Had to motor all night. Winds shifted West at 11 AM and increased. Presently on a nice beam reach. All is well.

Just leaving the Whangarei Heads. Headed to Minerva Reefs.

We are clearing out tomorrow morning and headed for Minerva Reefs and Tonga.

Our refit is finally drawing to a close! We will start looking for a weather window in about a week.

We are on a fast jibe parallel and 50 NM off the coast. We'll turn towards Opua when we draw even. ETA about Midnight. Next report should be from the Q dock. All is well. Rich Michelle Andy Ants

Winds have dropped further so we've been motor-sailing the last 18 hours. Running the port engine makes hot showers possible. Yippee! 220 to go. All is well. Rich Michelle Andy Ants

Bouncing along on 2-3 meter swell. No mal-de-mer thank goodness. Making good time. All is well.

Had a lovely sail down the Mamanuca chain Monday. Making a quick stop here and Denarau then over to say goodbye to our friends at Vuda. 19-Nov looks like our best departure date at this point.

We motored up from musket Cove to Waya today. These islands look like the Marquesas. Lush rugged and beautiful.
