Arrived yesterday at Holiday Ocean View Marina, Samal Island Philippines. This will be our home for the rest of this year as we do much needed repairs and improvements.

Arrived Talaud today after an overnight motor from Morotai. We were siting in the cockpit in the afternoon thinking about how to arrange a bit more diesel, just in case. No wind and current against us for the last leg. Then the tender for the Indonesian navy ship that was nearby arrived. We were invited on the ship and treated very well ( cookies and coffee served!) They even arranged our diesel and delivered it to the boat! Awesome! Love Indonesia!

Anchored southern end of Namatote Island. The Bagans have moved here so off to swim again with the Whale Sharks tomorrow.

Left our anchorage at Triton Bay Divers. Enjoyed our three weeks there. Did a few dives with them and some on our own. Liliane was able to do treatment with some of the guests and staff.

Currently anchored at the southern end of Aiduma Island. Have a beautiful beach all to ourselves. Scupper is thrilled.

Anchored Namatote North after last 4 days provisioning in Kaimana. There are about 8 Bagans nearby, so we will try for a whale shark swim tomorrow morning.

Anchored in front of Triton Bay Divers. Really nice spot. Think we will hangout here for awhile and do some diving.

Anchored Raf Bay. Hope to swim with the whale sharks tomorrow. The wind is out of the N, so we?ll see. Here?s hoping.

Arrived yesterday at Kaimana for provisions. Plan to leave tomorrow for the anchorage close to the whale sharks.

Stopped at Palua Sabuda for the night. Will wait for the wind to fill in tomorrow or the next day to continue south.

Left Sorong this morning, anchored for the night at Seget. On our way down to Triton Bay for a couple of months.

We have been a bit lax in our updates. After Christmas we left Besir Bay for Uranie. After five days there we grew tired of the swell coming into the bay so headed to Wayag. Enjoyed it last time we were here. Flat calm, beautiful scenery, very little garbage, decent snorkeling. Hard to beat.

Anchored Airborek. Went snorkeling with the mantas yesterday. Going back this morning with dive gear.

Here until Sunday, then back to Sorong to renews visas (and install new batteries, refrigerant gas, yada yada yada)

Back in the Southern Hemisphere. Anchored Wofoh for the night. Need to get back to Waisai to renew internet, provision and order our new batteries. Looks like a great dive spot. Might come back.

Moved over to Uranie. Another beautiful spot all to ourselves. And another beach for Scupper to explore.

Anchored Pulau Wayag. This truly is an idyllic place. Plan to be here a couple of weeks snorkeling/diving, fun at the beach and just chilling out. And of course some boat tasks.

Motored up to Minyaifun today. Tomorrow we will move up to Wayag where we hope to spend a couple of weeks.

Finished with diesel and groceries in Sorong, and our Raja Ampat permits in Waisai. Currently anchored in Frewin with three other boats. Now it feels like we?re out cruising!

Anchored on the south side of Yefman Island. Tried coming up the the Selat Segewin channel yesterday but didn’t get the current time right, so after fighting a 4 kt current we decided on an anchorage for the night.

Left Kai group yesterday towards Raja Ampat. Light SE winds, sailing wing on wing. All is well.

Cleared into Indonesia here in Tual yesterday. Plan to be here a few days before heading north to Raja Ampat.

Here for for the weekend (Liliane?s birthday). Scupper had his first flying fish today. He seemed to like it.

Anchored near Tutunametal village in the Tanimbar Group. Nice anchorage in 25ft of sand. Going to chill out and catch up on our sleep.

Slow passage the last couple of days. Little to no wind, ended up motoring low rpm just to keep the boat moving. Wind filled in nicely this morning. Wonderful sailing conditions at the moment. No swell, sun and wind on the beam. Couldn?t ask for more.

Changed our check in destination to Tual. No hurry to get there.

Cleared out and on our way to Sorong Indonesia. It’s been a great two years in Australia. The highlight of course being Tassie.

At Cullen Bay Marina for a couple of weeks in preparation for departure to Indonesia. Enjoying a little dock time. Won?t see another for the next seven months or so till we get to Singapore.

Left Escape River this morning, through Albany Pass and rounding Cape York. Now anchored in Seisia for a couple of days before lesving for Darwin.

Finally pulled the anchor up and left Pancake Creek this morning. Nice sail up to Hummocky Island for the night.

48 hour sail up from Mooloolaba, now anchored Pancake Creek. Nice to have a calm anchorage.

Arrived Mooloolaba Marina 7am this morning. Nice to be back here after a year and a half. Plan to be here one week, then onward to the north.

Just passing Cape Byron, running with 3-4m swell. Saw a few whales yesterday, one breaching not to far from the boat. Memories of Tonga!

Coffs Harbour Marina for a couple of weeks. Really nice here. Stuff for Scupper, stuff for us. What more could we want.

Shoal Bay, Port Stephens for the night. Doing day trips at the moment due to the 83 shipping containers drifting between Coffs and Newcastle.

Anchored Broulee Island after six weeks in Bermagui. Just planned to stay a week but really liked the place. Good marina rates.

Also took the time to socialize Scupper with people and other dogs, finish his vaccinations and get him fixed! Working our way towards Sydney where we will spend a few weeks.

Back in Hobart, preparing to do some house/pet sitting. It’s a first for us and we are really looking forward to it. We miss our dog we had with us when we first started our journey, so it will be a chance to get our fix!

Moved to Carnarvon Bay, Port Arthur after three days at Adventure Bay South Bruny Island.

Anchored in Variety Bay, North Bruny Island after two weeks in Hobart. We really enjoyed our time there, between boat tasks we took in the Wooden Boat Festival as well as a trip to Mt Field and the Bonerong Wildlife Reserve. Now we're free again with no agenda.

100NM to Tongatapu. Decided to slowly sail vs using the engine. Not in a any hurry. Liliane took a dip in the ocean. All is good.

Motoring through the centre of the high. Beautiful warm and sunny day.

Motored last night. Sailing again today in light winds.

Rather slow 24hrs running downwind with just the main. Noticed two track slides detached from the sail. Need to fix that this afternoon. Running with just poled out jib at the moment. Everything else ok.

Nice first day out. Looking forward to putting shorts back on in a day or two. All is well aboard.
