Kitikana
We left Bermagui about 7.30 am and have decided to go straight through to Sydney - hopefully arriving about 4 pm tomorrow. At the start the winds were south westerly and we got some great speeds. However it has now moved to completely behind us (downwind) - a very bad angle for us, so the motor is back on to keep our boat speed up otherwise it will be a very long trip.

We are currently about an hour out of Bermagui. It has been a very cruisy night - pun intended. What a difference 24hours makes. Wind has been sth west most of the night between 5 - 8 knots so we have motor sailed at a average speed of 5 knots - main and headsail up but only just. Beautiful low swell rolling through.
The phosphorescence has been amazing the last 2 nights - especially last night as there was very limited light as there was a lot of cloud cover. It looked like we had comets behind each hull - just streams of light and sparkles trailing along behind us.
