Anchored at Frewin now for over a week. Very settled weather. Catching up with boat chores and administration very chilled.
4 days on a mooring of Raja Ampat Dive Lodge. Nice meal and a beer or two ashore plus wonderful snorkelling around the reefs of Mansuar. Incredible fish life.
Back in Sorong after a month in Misool. Fantastic very remote environment! Great snorkelling and diving. Tie up anchorage at Balbulol for 10 days. Ready for next adventures in Raja Ampat with Madison & Nick arriving next week.
Back onboard in Raja Ampat after 5 weeks back in Auckland. planning to hang around Raja Ampat until May
A two day passage north to Raja Ampat in the company of Kaija Song and Cavalo who were cruising Triton Bay with.
Now anchored off a small village called Seget, 30 miles from Sorong.
Light NW head winds and the odd storm cell negotiated successfully. A relief as the NW monsoon sets in making north passages tricky.
A wonderful time in Triton bay, amazing snorkelling,stunning anchorages, swimming with whale sharks. Have got supplies from a small town called Kaimana. Leaving today to head up to Raja Ampat
Triton Bay anchorages and snorkelling have been fantastic. Didn?t think it could get any better but now in Muawara Island..wow!
After a few busy days in Tual clearing in and stocking up. Then an over night passage, we have anchored of the Triton Bay Divers Resort. An idyllic setting welcomed by whales and manta rays on arrival. We will stay here for a few days.

Motored last night but again lovely daytime breeze. Not as many fishing boats and also we have a better idea how they are operating. 5 miles of net off their bow . Fish landed about an hour ago as we worked out way through more fishing boats... easier in daylight. All very comfortable fish is on for tonight?s dinner

Wind down to 10 knots by lunchtime yesterday. Currently Drifting downwind with code zero poled out in 10 knots from East.Motor on over night and expect we will have to use again as not much wind in forecast.
Checked out of Thursday Island yesterday. Next stop Tual, Indonesia. Fast start with wind and current pushing us along. Slowed a little over night.

Portland Road at anchor for last 2 days. A little activity , here population of 10, end of a dusty road, nice local cafe for Iced Coffee and Cake. Heading of to Cap Grenville today. Will continue day sailing and anchoring overnight. Planning on being at Thursday Island on Wednesday.

Left Cairns a few days ago with Indonesian Visa's all sorted and boat loaded with EVERYTHING. Fantastic light wind sailing in flat seas. Code Zero getting lots of use as we head north, aiming to be at Thursday Island by end of October. Nice calm reef anchorage over night. Heading to Lizard island today

Anchored in Hinchinbrook Channel. Spent yesterday trying to catch the famed barramundi with Gary from Kaija Song. Sadly unsuccessful. But did notfeel so bad after locals said they had not caught a fish for 3 days!! Will troll our new "Bara" lures again today as we keep working our way through the channel

After several weeks in Mackay undertaking some maintenance and a 2 week trip back to NZ we have left Mackay. Glorious light wind day with blue blue skies anchored at Brampton Island. Swim and Beer and listen to All Blacks beat Australia .. fall asleep .. not a bad life.

Drifting down wind in flat seas and sun heading to Percy Islands. New reacher/code zero poled out after practicing in ideal conditions at different angles to the wind. Very happy sailors

Great half day sail From Lady Musgrave to Pancake Creek yesterday. Full sail reach, just forward of the beam flatish seas ... heaven. Nice pretty anchorage. looking forward to a long walk to light house.

Anchored on northern side of Peel Island Moreton Bay. Yesterday bussed to Point Lookout, North Stradbrooke. to checkout migrating whales. Saw lots of humpbacks from great walkways around the headland.

Arrived in In Hope Harbour Marina last week. Catching up friends and some boat jobs and purchases. will head north in about 5 days.
Back in Yamba after a week up river on the Clarence River. Checked out all the river towns and caught up with Gary and Sue long time cruisers who now live on the river. Gary did all the interior wood work on JAMS. Heading north to Gold Coast this week.
Camden Haven River after time at Newcastle and Broughton Island. Great autumn sun and nice SW winds to continue but swell forecast makes the river bars tricky so of to Clarence River tomorrow. The plan is to sneak in before the swell arrives and spend some time there.
Started our progression north with a short hop from Pittwater to Newcastle. Plan to head slowly North to North Queensland over next month or two
Arrived today in Broken bay/Pittwater after a glorious downwind sail (apart from last nights 6 hour southerly !!) from Gold Coast 3 days 2 nights. Will hang out here for a week then head to Sydney.

Left Bundaberg Wednesday checked out Fraser Island by 4wd Bus Tour Thursday. Passaged through the shallows of The Great sandy Straight Wednesday. Crossed our first bar (Wide Bay Bar) Yesterday and motor sailed in very wet conditions to Mooloolaba. Staying here for a week.
Check out the photos just before the worst thunderstorm Bundaberg had seen in years. Destructive 60-70 knots for about 15 minutes. Sad to see some of the damage

Have been in Bundaberg since Friday afternoon.Clearance all done by Saturday morning. Lots of boats we have met previously and many new boats to met as we joined the Go West Rally which has been excellent value . Melbourne Cup Day today
