Lovely 24 hours reaching south. Vanuatu & New Caledonia are behind us now. We'll see what the days ahead bring.

At the top of Malakula motoring along. Should be in Peterson Bay, Santo just after noon. Trip was lumpy and wet at first, then some nice sailing with a glowing volcano and now, hopefully, an easy slide in!

Rubicon, Matt & Elizabeth arrived in New Zealand on November 30, in 10 days 20hours. We blew out our trusty little storm jib, "Patches" along the way and it looks like we are going to have to do some major work on our diesel auxiliary engine, "Elmer".
We are now settled in Whangarei and getting the boat rinsed of the salt and us a bit of a catch up on sleep. Monday we begin to tackle projects. Despite all we had a great sail and sailed most of the way.
New Zealand is a beautiful place and we look forward to exploring in between our boat projects.
