In Opua Marina

Very happy to be arriving in Opua later today! 44 nm to go. Running low on chocolate.

All fine onboard. 2 large swell trains making for a swooping, lively ride. The current is a great help. Expecting wind to come from the S-SE later this evening but not so strong as to interfere with landfall tomorrow evening.

All well. Motorsailing. Nice rinsing rain shower in the night. DTW 372nm (Opua) ETA Monday night.

Wind dying so have just turned on the motor to add to the little wind and keep speed up. Am at the halfway mark this morning. Yay!

1800h UTC: Easier sailing with less confused seas and the backing wind allows a rhumb line course to be sailed. A big flying fish on deck this morning. No other vessels in sight or on AIS at present. Air and sea temps decidedly cooler than Fiji!

All well on board. Life at 30 degrees of heel is a bit much. Can't wait for the wind to back. No crew to mutiny.

Left Denarau Marina at 12 noon. Bound for Navula Passage. There was a long line up for customs.

Depart today bound for Opua. Thanks Fiji, it has been great.
