OK...you're half way around the world in your yacht. I've actually joined the RYA...it's a start! Seawell completes its contract work with Repsol in about two weeks time. Then along with the WE, they dry dock and get laid up in Frederikshavn, Denmark until the end of Feb'17. Went to Mickey Soden's funeral. 15 divers showed up amongst dozens of his family and friends from Essex, and he had a good send off. Mickey never put any money behind the bar for the first round of drinks. I told Del Turner that seeing he was probably the next one to go...he'd better put aside around £200 for drinks now...or I won't be going!! Of to sunny Dubai soon to catch up with my Katie. Then maybe USA early next year to see my sisters. Also going to the 'Old & Bold' army divers meeting on Dec 1st at Horsea Island. I'm sure it's supposed to be 'Old & Bald'? Be safe.

I was googling trying to make contact with Mickey and came across a couple of stories about his passing and this one. Met him in LA in 1990 while on holidays there, cracker of a bloke was going to the UK and thought I would try and catch up with him for a beer or two.
