Sailing from Mooloolaba to Bribie Island. Lovely sunny day. Easterly of 14kts.

Its been a long night. Will be anchored in Mooloolaba Harbour by 8am. Then sleep.

We made it. Yeah. Through the notorious Wide Bay Bar without any problems. My imagination was worse than actual. Anchored in Double Island Point for a few rolly hours. Now on our way on an overnight passage to Mooloolaba.

Anchored in Tin Can Bay inlet for Christmas. Motored through the shallow waters of Sandy Straits on the high tide. Good day till we came into Wide Bay Harbour where 25kt winds against tide produced a very rowdy sea. Came aground as we motored looking for a suitable spot to drop anchor. As we waited for the tide to refloat us we chatte to two locals and had a cider. Merry Christmas.

Currently at anchor off Kingfisher Resort Fraser Island. 12 hour sail / motor sail. 10kts fron the north. Dropped just as the thunder and lightning took center stage. Spending a couple of days here before navigating the shallow waters to Tin Can Bay. Have a great festive time.

Finally made it to Australua after 16 days and 1650 nautical miles. Tired but safely Not sure if our daily YIT reports got through. Thought we might have missed Australia as we didn't sight land until we were 7Nm off the coast. .. Time to catch up on sleep.

Another lovely day. Didn't feel brave enough to sail between reefs and islands last night so hove-to till first light.

Goodbye Savusavu. Leaving Fiji on a fabulous day. 10kts East South East. On our way to Bundaberg Australia. Hope to get there by the end of the month.

Currently anchored at Paradise Resort Taveuni. Wet, wet, wet. 5 more days of this to go. Will head to Nadi as soon as this weather passes.

Arrived in Savusavu yesterday after a four day passage from Tonga. After a good nights sleep were ready to explore. This is my kind of paradise.

Lively day sailing into Fiji waters. Hope to clear into Savusavu tomorrow afternoon.

All is well on board. Caught a mahimahi on the line yesterday only for it to get away as we tried to haul on board. Too big for the freezer anyway.

Light breeze has meant a very slow sail to Fiji. At one point we were sailing north to Zephyr Bank. Wind has come around from the East of 4kts - back on track.

Leaving Neiafu after two months in Tonga and heading to Savusavu Fiji. New batteries I can now listen to Metallica on our four day passage. John may decide to jump ship. Will try to post our passage using the modem. Malo

Currently anchored at #10 mooring (Ma'unga'ui) with two fellow yachts from Gulf Harbour. Anchored close to coral beach. Looking forward to snorkelling tomorrow.

Arrived in Nuku'alofa on Monday and are now anchored outside Big Mammas, Pangaimotu. The trip threw everything at us - starting with amazing weather and sailing for the first week, then strong winds and gusts of 50kts in the direction we wanted to go for two days. Hove-to for the night and then spent the next few days zigzagging our way north. Engine battery then died and after hooking up the hydro-generator behind the boat managed to get the motor started a day out of Nuku'alofa. Everyone is well. Will spend next few days resting before heading north.

NW 12 kts with 2.5 metre seas and a 3 metre swell. Spent the night hove-to as we rode out a storm with gusts of 50kts. All is well on board.
