Sailed to Gaua yesterday, nice pleasant sail with 15 knots. Hooked up a big Marlin that gave us a spectacular dancing show before breaking Mick Hall's Ebay lure and smoking the drag on the reel ! Welcomed to the anchorage of Pwetevut Bay by 3 canoes full of locals. Today Mark is attempting to be an outboard motor mechanic for the local village here. Cheers Mark Hayley

Ahoy! Loving your pics, looks
Hi Sailors,
Spent a wonderful 9 nights at Anelghowhat Bay, opposite Mystery Island, lots of snorkelling, swimming & paddle boarding, had a memorial drift dive where the boat boys decided to have a nap and forgot us, thought we were about to make 'Open Water 2' ! Lots of walks meeting lovely friendly locals. Headed north and anchored at Port Patrick last night and tonight, they copped a heavy whack here from Cyclone Pam. Heading to Port Resolution at Tanna Island tomorrow.
Sounds wonderful, can't wait

Motored for a few hours this morning after which winds have been mostly SW 18 - 22 straight up the bum. Seas are moderate and just going past the coastline of Mare. Been a lovely days sailing and Mark dropped another dolphin fish.
At anchor at Port Goro, waiting for the sun to rise to leave for Aneityum. Departure 6am.
Have a good trip to Vanuatu
Have checked out with customs making our way to the bottom of New Caledonia on Tuesday.
Have just got the ok off Vanuatu Customs to be cleared into Aneityum (Mystery Island). Will do the 200 nm passage on Wednesday with all the right winds.
Have had a amazing stay in the land of baguettes and Havannah beer and got some of the best surf I've had in years. Met some great people and the locals have been very friendly
Au revoir Mark and Hayley
After spending a few nights at Baie de Kuto we moved around to Baie de Ugo, we've had glorious weather and been doing plenty of paddling on the boards and snorkelling. Fish are scarce but they're are now plenty of sharks with lots of bling in their mouths. This bay would have to be the nicest of all the Isle de Pines bays, plenty of crystal clear aqua lagoons to explore. After the giving one of the local indigenous some gifts we feel much more welcome and have had no incidence of being 'moved on'. Will be heading around to Gadji tomorrow, the next bay around and also beautiful.
Mark & Hayley
Stayed last night at Ilot Mato, glass out, had a lovely paddle into shore this morning, motored to Ilot Kouare today and spending the night here. Beautiful island, walked around it this afternoon. Mark catching far too many fish and getting bitten off by reef sharks ! Heading to Isle of Pines tomorrow. Mark & Hayley
