Arrived Newcastle yesterday morning. N winds clocked 50 knot off Seal Rock then thru thunderstorm approaching Port Stephens. After that all calm with phosphorescent Dolphins! Friendly customs and clearance. Enjoying Newcastle and Marina.

100nm to Newcastle. Lots of shipping. Rough seas 2m swell. 20-30 knot N winds. Looking forward to arrival.

220nm to Newcastle. Looking for the elusive "finding nemo" current and/or some wind.

Still very little wind. Australia putting on a lightening display last night.... keeping away!

No wind. Motoring. Glassy seas. Emptying the jerrys.

Departed Noumea late yesterday(Mon) morning for Newcastle. Flat seas and motorsailing overnight. Now 19kn wind and 1.8m sea.

Spent last night at Ilot Uatio(5 Isles). Great snorkelling. Shifted out of the southern lagoon today for the forecast southerly blow.

Visited Prony village yesterday then anchored here overnight. Heading to the Isle of Pines today and looking forward to a week of light winds down there.

Anchored off Levuka after rough overnight sail from Vanua Balavu. Started off v pleasant but no wind. Deteriorated at 8pm and Russell seasick for the first time on OYNAS. I managed to keep my seasick tablets Down. Just! Ready for fresh bread and to explore the old capital.
